Mathes -- Franklin Roger Mathes, 56, of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly on Friday. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Frank and Edith Mathes. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Mathes; son, Roger Mathes Jr. of Albuquerque; daughters, Angela Mathes of Phoenix, AZ and Loretta Mathes of Tucson, AZ. Also Surviving are one sister, Loretta Warden of Sussex, NJ; four brothers, Norman Mathes and wife, Terssie, Donald Mathes, Gerald Mathes, and Lloyd Mathes, all of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing and softball. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this afternoon, 2:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Carlos Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luciano Jinzo Jr., Dan Jinzo, Benjie Sanchez, Luciano Jinzo Sr., Andrew Perea, and Skeeter Mathes. Honorary Pallbearer will be Manual Tafoya. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street, Norbert"Ray" Baldonado Jr., F.S.I.
