Chapo -- George Chapo died Saturday in Gallup at the age of 82. Funeral Services for Mr. Chapo will be held on Friday at the Chief Cornerstone Church in Canoncito where the service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Canoncito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernest Platero, Eugene Platero, Clyde Begay, Arcino Nez, Douglas Platero and Derick Platero. Honorary pallbearers will be Orville White and Dillon Chapo. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
