Pool -- Lloyd Pool, 80, an Albuquerque resident of 13 years, died Saturday, June 3, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Pool of the family home; daughter, Kathryn P. Yarbrough and husband, Mark of Albuquerque; grandson, Jake Yarbrough and wife, Lynita of Ft. Worth, TX; granddaughter, Emily Yarbrough and fiance, Thomas Smith of Denver, CO; sister-in-law, Alline Pool of San Antonio, TX; and a great-grandchild expected in July. His parents, Archie and Jeffie Pool and a brother, Archie Hoyt Pool, preceded Mr. Pool in death. Mr. Pool was born on June 10, 1919 in Lorenzo, TX. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and had served as an elder and a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church. Mr. Pool was a veteran of WWII, having served in the US Army. Lloyd will be remembered for his honesty, humor, and loving nature. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2000 at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, with Dr. Paul R. Debenport and Rev. Carl Soderberg, officiating. Private interment of the cremated remains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Should friends desire, contributions in memory of Mr. Pool may be made to the Kidney Foundation of NM, 1715 Girard Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
