Parsons-Maes -- Christopher Travis Parsons-Maes, 2 months and 7 days, passed away April 24 at his home in McIntosh. He is survived by his parents, Danny and Elizabeth Maes; three sisters, Bianca, Mariah and Kasandra; and one brother, Aaron; his maternal grandparents, Ray and Cindi Parson of Jemez Springs; paternal grandparents, Albert Maes and Ramona Castillo of Willard, NM; maternal great-grandparents, Ruby Parsons, Ruth and Doyle Dobbs of Albuquerque; paternal great-grandparents, Casianita Gonzales; his aunt and uncle, Kenneth and Joanna Claxton of Seattle, WA. Also surviving are numerous great-aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Herman Parsons, Alfredo Gonzales, Barbara and Cirilio Maes. Viewing will be Thursday, April 27, 2000, 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Harris-Hanlon Chapel in Moriarty. Services will be Saturday, April 29, 2000, 3:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Moriarty with Kenny Long officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty. Pallbearers will be Joe Gonzales and Christopher Romero. Christopher will be greatly missed by all. He was loved very much and brought so much joy to us in the short time he was here. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
