Gonzales -- Mr. Julian R. Gonzales died Friday in Albuquerque at the age of 47. He was preceded in death by his father, Julian R. Gonzales. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his mother, Carolina M. Gonzales of Albuquerque; sons, Shawn Montoya of Colorado and J.R. Appel of Albuquerque; daughter, Rachael Gonzales of Arizona; brothers, Rafael Gonzales of Albuquerque and Ramon Gonzales and wife, Cindy of Angel Fire; sisters, Maria Elena Lerma and husband, Isaac of Santa Fe, Blanca Saavedra of Albuquerque, and Sharon Gonzales of Colorado; grandson, Austin J. Appel; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Mr. Gonzales will be held on Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
