Vigil -- J. Lawrence"Larry" Vigil passed away April 22, 2000. He was an active member of Queen of Heaven Parish and loved fishing, hunting, and flying remote control airplanes. Larry was employed by Albuquerque Publishing Company for 35 years and retired in 1991. He is survived by Alice, his beloved wife of 52 years; son, Robert L. Vigil and wife, Rhonda; daughters, Anita Boggs and husband, Gene and Barbara Montoya; his grandchildren, the loves of his life, Robert I. Vigil, Jennifer R. Vigil and husband, Brant Wagener, Katrina Montoya, David Montoya and Richard Montoya; great grandchildren, Jordan Garcia and Jillian Montoya-Cuevas; sisters, Marcella, Irene and Agnes and their beloved spouses; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2000. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2000. Inurnment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Amarante"Moe" Moya, Art Duran, Joe Rivera, Robert I. Vigil, David Montoya and Richard Montoya.
