Johnson -- Norman Lyle Johnson, 88, passed away April 12, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Josephine Roach. Mr. Johnson was born April 19, 1912 in South Bend, IN. He attended public school there and graduated from Notre Dame University in 1936. He worked as a reporter for the South Bend Tribune and several years before joining the staff of the Louisville Courier Journal in 1940. He later transferred to the Louisville Times as an Editorial Writer and retired from there in 1975. His entire professional life was in Journalism, spanning almost forty years. Mr. Johnson moved to Rio Rancho, NM in 1975 and for the last eight years had been living in Albuquerque, NM. Private interment is scheduled. The cremation arrangements were by the Sunrise Society of New Mexico, 891-8200
