Candelaria -- Valery Candelaria, 31, born November 14, 1968, was called to be with Our Lord God on September 15, 2000. She was well loved and survived by her spouse, Paul Walthers; son, Ruben Martinez, Jr.; also by her mother, Diana Flores and her father, Eddie Candelaria; her two brothers, Victor Candelaria and Richard Velasquez. She was loved by her aunts, Rosella Santillanes and Carmen Madrid; sister-in-law, Isabel Candelaria; and by all her cousins, nieces, nephews, and her Godson. Memorial services for Valery will be held on Wednesday evening at San Jose Church where the service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
