Although your spirit is strong in our hearts and lives, your absence is keenly felt. We miss your smile, your laugh, and the shoulder that was always there to lean on. I thank you for raising me to be a strong person. That strength has kept me going, even when it seemed my whole world was crashing down around me. It has taken this strength to honor your wishes and to stand by my decisions. Your life touched the lives of a great many people. It is a great joy for me to see your spirit live on in my children, and in all the people whose lives you touched. Like the song says,"You're here, there's nothing I fear, and I know that my heart will go on. We'll stay forever this way, you are safe in my heart and my heart will go on and on." I love you dad.
