Waller -- Scott Vincent Waller, age 16, a resident of Albuquerque for the past year, passed away unexpectedly on 15 March 2000. Scottie is survived by his parents, Kenneth L. and Sheree C. Waller; his brothers, Kenney and Geoffrey, and sister-in-law, Leanna Waller, all of Albuquerque; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Lorene Eaton of Farmington; paternal grandmother, Mary Waller of Silver City; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends from around the Southwest. Scottie was born on 7 August 1983 at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. He lived for three years at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, before moving to Safford, Arizona, where he resided for ten years. He attended Dorothy Stinson Elementary School, Lafe Nelson Elementary and Safford Middle School. In 1997, he moved with his family to Farmington, where he resided for 1 1/2 years, attending Tibbett's Jr. High School, and finally moving to Albuquerque the fall of 1998. At the time of his death, Scottie was employed by Conway Electric of Albuquerque as an electrician helper. Scottie had recently finished fixing up his car and putting in it a"boomin' system" of which he was especially proud. Though a recent resident of Albuquerque he was blessed with many friends. Scottie, who possessed a gracious heart and giving spirit, will be sorely missed. The family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful efforts and care of the Neuroscience ICU staff of University Hospital and the kindness of the New Mexico Donor Services representatives.
