Marx -- Harry J. Marx, Jr., a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2000. He was a pioneer in the aerospace industry and pioneered clean room techniques used by NASA. Harry also worked on the design of the lunar excursion module. He was a member of the JEPTHA Masonic Lodge in Huntington, Long Island and a member of the Grumman Aerospace Retiree Club. Harry served his country during WWII in the United States Navy and was also a ham radio operator, General Class License W5HJM. Harry is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy of Rio Rancho; three children, William Marx and wife, Barbara of Ft. Lauderdale, Helen and husband, Gregory Seymour of Rio Rancho, Lorraine Epstein and husband, Daniel of Lynnbrook, Long Island; three grandchildren, Renate Roberts and husband, Kirk of Rio Rancho, Aaron Seymour and Natalie of Rio Rancho and Jarrod Epstein of Lynnbrook, Long Island; two great-grandchildren, Grant Edward and Estella Jade. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Memorial Services for Harry will be held on Monday, May 22, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Rio Rancho Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 201 Eubank Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM 87123.
