Arnold -- Carl V. Arnold, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for 45 years, died Saturday, May 13, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rose M. Arnold of the family home; daughters, Linda Arnold of Denver, CO, Tara Francis and husband, Don, of Salt Lake City, UT, and Jean Brown of Albuquerque; sister, Marybelle Fisher and husband, James of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Casey Hale and wife, Mareesha, Roger Hale, Nathan Hale, Crystal Wangsgaard, Mandy Francis and Arianna Brown; two great-grandchildren, Coral Wangsgaard and Aurie Wangsgaard, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Arnold was WWII Veteran and served in the Army Air Corps in the European Theatre. He worked as an Air Traffic Controller, retiring from the FAA Center after 20 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and was part of the Two Som Class. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE with Rev. Archie Parker officiating. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
