Walter -- Grace Hoover Walter, age 86, a former resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday in Ft. Worth, TX, where she had been residing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. Walter in 1979. She is survived by her son, Patrick Lawrence Walter and wife, La Vonne of Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Christopher Lawrence Walter, M.D. and wife, Heidi of Las Vegas, NV, Darron Patrick Walter and wife, Kristin of Albuquerque, and their mother, Tersa Walter; great-granddaughter, Bailey Morgan Walter; and sister, Thelma Johnston of New York. Services for Mrs. Walter will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, with Pastor Ronald McGregor of Asbury United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, are in charge of arrangements.
