Minshew -- Robert A. Minshew, 51, son of Jenelle C. Minshew and the late Rev. A. P. Minshew of Jefferson City, TN passed away peacefully in his sleep Thursday, January 27, 2000, in Albuquerque, NM. Mr. Minshew was born in Cedartown, GA. He spent most of his growing up years in Ft. Myers, FL, where he graduated from Ft. Myers High School. He attended Florida State University and the University of New Mexico. Longtime resident of Albuquerque, Bob had spent a large part of the past two years helping his family to care for his mother at her home in Jefferson City, TN. Survivors are his mother, Jenelle C. Minshew; sister, Gwen J. Minshew, and her children, Karla and Michael Helton, of Knoxville, TN; sister, Judith A. Minshew of Jefferson City, TN; and aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Minshew, Anne M. Montague and Lawrence Montague, all of Richmond, VA. He will be sorely missed for to know him was to love him. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, 5:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the A.P.
