Ray -- Frederick A. Ray, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1993, died Wednesday, October 4, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Della Ray of Albuquerque; daughter, Marilyn Williams and husband, Kenneth of Albuquerque; son, Gary L. Ray and wife, Beth of Green Valley, AZ; three grandchildren, Jason Ray of Polson, MT, Grant and Michelle Williams, both of Albuquerque; sister, Addeline Frankenfeld of Yuma, AZ; and brother, Edward Ray and wife, Betty of Burbank, CA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Franklin Ray; and grandson, Trevor Ray. He was a resident of Albuquerque for seven years, moving here from Orem, UT. Mr. Ray attended Aztec High School in New Mexico. He lived in Burbank, CA for 25 years, where he raised his family. From there he moved to Orem, UT in 1976 and moved to Albuquerque in 1993. Mr. Ray was an accomplished Fine Artist with paintings displayed in various galleries throughout the Southwest. Services will be held, Friday, 11:00 a.m., at the Kachina Building - L.D.S. Church Paradise Hills/Cibola Ward, with Bishop Steve Wagner. Friends may visit Friday, from 10:00 a.m. til 11:00 a.m., at the Kachina Building, Relief Society room. Interment will take place in Orem City Cemetery, Orem, UT. French Mortuary-Westside, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW.
