Davenport -- Frances R. Davenport, a resident of Albuquerque for 32 years, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2000. She is survived by her loving daughter, Vickie Nichols; and son, Jim Davenport and his wife, Beverly, all of Albuquerque; one brother, Ernest Kunze and his wife, Mary of Missouri; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Davenport was a member of Temple Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Visitation will be held Friday, October 6, 2000, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 7 at 1:00 p.m. in Palm Chapel at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, with Pastor J. Curtis Goldman officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
