Tricoli -- Jim Tricoli, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at home after a battle with cancer. He was born on April 9, 1926 in Buffalo, NY to Raymond and Anna (Amico) Tricoli. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Anderson Tricoli of Albuquerque; daughter, Joanne Blackwell of Phoenix, AZ; sons, Robert and Michael Tricoli, both of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Bess Lonzi and husband, Albert, Jo DeLozier and husband, Bill, and Camille Jeris, all of Buffalo, NY; brother, Paul Tricoli of Santa Fe, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Tricoli; and sister, Rose Silvestro. Mr. Tricoli retired after 24 years from Communications Workers of America Union. He was employed for 19 years by Western Electric Co. in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Tricoli served in United State Marine Corps. during WWII at the Battle of Iwo Jima and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Habitat For Humanity, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE, 87106. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
