Kingsbury -- Harry Kenneth Kingsbury, 74, of Stanley, passed away on August 25, 2000 at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque. Mr. Kingsbury was born on July 3, 1926 in Mosquero, New Mexico. He was a retired police officer, having worked a Patrolman for the Albuquerque Police Department Chief of Police in Clovis, and finally before his retirement as Chief of Detectives for the Bernalillo Sheriffs Department. Mr. Kingsbury was also a rancher. He married Christina Knoerr on March 2, 1956 in Las Cruces and spent a wonderful 44 years together. Funeral services for Mr. Kingsbury will be at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2000 at The Stanley Union Church in Stanley with Rev. Thompson officiating. Visitation will be one hour before at the church. Committal services will be at 2:00 p.m. at Mosquero Cemetery in Mosquero, NM with Rev. Turpening officiating. Mr. Kingsbury is survived by his wife of the home; a son, Kenneth Musgrove of Stanley; his daughters, Rebekah Morris of Dumas, TX and Karen Lewis of Stanley; his mother, Ellen Kingsbury of Stanley; a sister, Helen Graham of California; his grandchildren, Jacob Lewis, Jerry Morris, Selena Morris, and Julie Morris. He also leaves a host of other family members and many friends who will miss him dearly. Pallbearers for Mr. Kingsbury will be Kenny Musgrove, Dale Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Jim McDonald, Eddie Montano and Steve Hiens.
