Fairman -- Lorna"Lori" Fairman, 68, died on February 28, 2000 in Albuquerque. She was born in St. Louis, MO and moved to Albuquerque in 1958. With over 20 years of service, she retired from the Signa Insurance Company in 1992. She loved spending time with her family at Bluewater Lake and was an avid football and auto racing fan. Her husband, Paul B. Fairman preceded her in death in 1993. A very loving mother, grandmother and friend, Lori is survived by her daughter Cheryl Schlecht and husband, Douglas of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Jamie Schlecht and Jennifer Schlecht; and many loving friends, including Greg and Linda Duerrey and their children, Dustin and Daniel. A Memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 3, 2000, at Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Charles Karian and Dr. Bruce Miller, who took wonderful care of Lori for many years.
