Baca -- Mr. Jose M. Baca Sr., 96, born June 4, 1904, passed away June 27, 2000. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paulita J. Baca in 1982. Mr. Baca is survived by three daughters, Rita and Soila Baca and Helen Robinson; five sons, Juan Baca, Joe Baca, Richard Baca, Robert Baca and wife, Anna, and Ray Baca; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, who was like a brother to him, Alcario Jaramillo. Mr. Baca was a hard working farmer from Atrisco, he planted his garden until the age of 93. He was an heir to the Atrisco Land Grant, a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. He will be greatly missed by his children and all is grand and great-grandchildren, his relatives and his friends. Vaya Con Dios. A visitation for Mr. Baca will be Thursday afternoon, from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW. No services following the visitation Thursday evening. A Funeral service will be held Friday morning, 9:00 a.m., at the Rio Grande 7th Day Adventist Church, 5200 Iliff NW, with visitation at the church after 8:30 a.m. Larry Vigil, Rio Grande 7th Day Adventist Elder, Officiant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Chavez, Joe Pasqual Pacheco, Calvin Espinoza, Tim Chavez Sr., Roland Mares and Frank Baca.
