Williams -- Ted L. Williams, age 66, passed away October 13, 2000 at the Guadalupe County Hospital in Santa Rosa. Ted was born October 27, 1933 in Guadalupita, NM to the home of Tomas Williams and Celia Valdez. He attended and graduated from Immaculate Conception School in Las Vegas, NM. Ted worked as a Electronic Technician at Sandia and Los Alamos Labs. He married Esperanza Trujillo in Albuquerque on March 8, 1980. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish, the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club of Santa Rosa and the American Legion. Ted loved fishing and playing golf. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Josephine Medina and a brother, George Williams. Survivors include his wife, Esperanza of the family home in Santa Rosa; three daughters, Janel Salazar and husband, Rick of Las Vegas, NM, Lynette Williams of Albuquerque and Lisette Williams and Fiance John Cedarleaf of Las Vegas, NM; stepchildren, Molly Page and husband, Charles of Larimie, WY, George Dodge and wife, Kathy, Susan Mumford and husband, Bob and Manuel Dodge and wife, Ramona all of Santa Rosa; grandchildren, Tina Dodge, Abran Dodge, Carol Rael, Edward Romo and fiance, Monica, Renee Dodge, Adam Dodge, Tenika Dodge-Mumford, Leah Olguin, Keith Salazar and Jaesic Olguin; and one great-grandchild, Erryn Cordova. Also surviving are three brothers, Jesse Williams of Tesque, NM, Tomas Williams and wife, Ida of Pinole, CA, Fred Williams and wife, Anita of Albuquerque, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary Services will be held on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. from St. Rosa of Lima Church in Santa Rosa. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. also from St. Rose Church with Father Stephen Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Abran Dodge, Adam Dodge, Rick Salazar, Charles Page, John Cederleaf, Edward Romo, Mike Hayes, Matthew Sedillos, Chris Vigil, In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Edward Romo leukemia fund, C/O Wells Fargo Bank, 4900 Corona Ave., Santa Rosa, NM 88435. This fund was set up by Ted in helping his grandson, Edward who is battling leukemia with medical expenses.
