Molzen-Sissom -- Iona Molzen-Sissom, 96, of Newton, Kansas, died Thursday, (January 6, 2000), at Presbyterian Manor. She was born February 11, 1903 in Walton, Kansas. She married Walter N. Molzen in 1924 in Newton. He preceded her in death in 1950. She married Walter M. Sissom in 1961. He also preceded her in death in 1981. Survivors include one daughter, Clarene Wilms of Topeka; one son, Dayton F. Molzen of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Dr. George Molzen of Albuquerque, Lucena Pape of Fort Collins, CO, Richard Wilms of Shawnee Mission, KS, James Wilms of Olathe, KS, David Wilms of Overbrook, KS, and Ron Wilms of Spring Hills, KS; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services and burial were held Saturday, January 8 at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. Memorials have been established with Presbyterian Manor, Good Samaritan Fund, 1200 E. 7th St., Newton, Kansas 67114.
