Sena -- Trenidad Sena, age 95, passed away December 31, 2001 at his residence in Borica, NM following an illness. Trenidad was born September 4, 1906 in Salado, NM to the home of Tomas and Delfina Garcia Sena. He was reared in Borica. Trenidad married Eleano Casuas in August of 1938. They ranched sheep and cattle in Borica for many years. Trenidad drove the school bus for the Santa Rosa Consolidated schools for over 25 years. He loved gardening and playing the accordian. He was a member of San Isidro Church in Borica and St. Rose of Lima Parish in Santa Rosa. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Tommy E. Sena, his daughter, Veronica Sena, his brother, Pete Sena, his sister, Teresa Sena and two infant sisters. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Sena of the family home in Borica; his children, Sally Chavez and husband, Joe of Santa Rosa, Dora Sena of Borica, Isabel Tafoya and husband, Candido of Portales, Helen Wilkinson and husband, Fred Wallace of Dallas, TX, Ted Sena and wife, Rosie of Dallas, TX, Viola Salazar and husband, Edward of Santa Rosa, Linda Lopez and husband, Guadalupe of Clovis, NM, Ralph Sena of Borica and Faustin Sena and wife, Shirley of Moriarty, NM; brothers and sisters, Gabriel Sena of Albuquerque, Alberto Sena of Albuquerque, Lugarda Zamora and husband, Enriques of Santa Rosa, Mary Sanchez and husband, Ernest of Clovis and Dolores of Clovis. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary Services will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. from St. Rose of Lima Church in Santa Rosa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday afternoon also from St. Rose of Lima Church with Father Stephen Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at San Isidro Cemetery in Borica. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Johnny Chavez, Christopher Salazar, Jonathan Salazar, Timothy Lopez, Clifford Wilkinson, Ronnie Tafoya, Thomas Tafoya, Ted Edward Sena, David Sena and Joseph Flores. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Robin Jackson, Liz Kiser, Marsha Salazar, Jude Flores, Monika Kiser, Heather Chavez, Chris Sena and Jarod Kiser.
