Gallegos -- Mrs. Agnes R. Gallegos died Monday, December 31, 2001 in Albuquerque at the age of 72. Mrs. Gallegos is survived by her husband, Jose S. Gallegos; son, Raymond Romero; sisters, Louisa R. Jones and Mela Castillo; sister-in-law, Mary Francis Chavez; grandchild, Julie Romero; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Gallegos will be held on Friday at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Benny Chavez, Little Richard, Rudy Martinez, Rudy Garcia, Eloy Whiting and Michael Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be James Artuchla, Simon Chavez and Daniel Flores. A Rosary for Mrs. Gallegos will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
