Eastep -- Richard Dale Eastep November 28, 1928 - December 27, 2001 Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Attended Albuquerque High School. Richard served in the U.S.M.C. for WWII and the Korean War. He retired from the Sheet Metal Worker International Assoc. with over 40 years of good standing. Richard build and lived his dream in the mountains outside of Monument, OR, where he lived with his wife, Aloies. Richards wealth in life was his family, friends and dogs Sam and Rings. We well all miss him. Richard left behind a much loved wife, Alois; one sister, Jeanne Sidari of Morago, CA; eight children, Patricia Neal of Miami, FL, Michael Eastep of Aloha, OR, Kathy Hosteler of Fairfield, CA, Janet Burns of San Diego, CA, Mark Born of Herminston, OR, Cecilia Donahue of Blue Springs, MO, Robert Eastep of OR, Richard Eastep of San Diego, CA; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; two dogs, Sam, 13 years old and Ringo, 9 years old. A graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Janaury 2, 2002 at the Monument Cemetery in Monument, OR. Sweeney Mortuary, Heppner, OR in charge of arrangements.
