Hooven -- Francis Hooven, 94, a resident of New Mexico since 1923, died Tuesday, January 8, 2002. He is survived by his daughter, Francine Vivian; granddaughter, Peggy Sue Journey and husband, Robert; grandsons, Lonnie Vivian, all of Stamford, TX and John Vivian of Bosque, NM; great-grandsons, Harlen Buzzard of Stamford, TX, Joey Buzzard of Abilene, TX and Jason Caudell of Madison, WI; great-granddaughters, Jennifer Montz and husband, Andy of Mesa, AZ, Wendy Buzzard of Stamford, TX and Casey Vivian of Bosque, NM; four great-great-grandchildren; nephew, Rick Aycock and wife, Barbara of Albuquerque; as well as many other family members. Mr. Hooven was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hooven; and granddaughter, Lou Ellen Caudell. Francis is recognized in the New Mexico Teacher's Hall of Fame and he enjoyed bowling. Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Entombment will follow service. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Vivian, Robert Journey, Harlen Buzzard, John Vivian, Joey Buzzard and Rick Aycock. Contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of NM, 1715 Girard NE, 87106. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
