Aragon -- Frances Aragon, 89, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and sister was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior, early Wednesday morning, January 9, 2002. Ms. Aragon was born in Cuba, NM to the late Edwardo and Aurelia Aragon. She was a resident of Albuquerque and a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Ms. Aragon was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Aragon; two brothers, Ross and Gorgonio Aragon. She is survived by her loving children, Johnny L. Aragon and Grace A. Duran and husband, Orlando both of Albuquerque; her two precious grandchildren, Johnny D. Aragon and Miguel Andres Duran. Also surviving are, three brothers, Pablo Aragon of Cuba, NM, Roberto Aragon of Durango, CO, Manuel Aragon of Salt Lake City, UT; three sisters, Pablita Lucero of Jemez Springs,NM, Lupita Garcia of Los Lunas, NM and Sara Trujillo of Farmington, NM; and numerous other relatives. Frances will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. Visitations will today from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Fr. Joe Vigil as celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Johnny D. Aragon, Manuel Aragon, Mariano Lucero, Jr., Gilbert Duran, Lawrence Duran, and Christopher Duran. Funeral Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9429 4th Street, NW.
