Aragon -- Mrs. Mary Fischer Aragon, 88, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family on January 19, 2002. Mrs. Aragon is the beloved mother to five children, Edwina Brown, Reymundo (Rey) Aragon and wife, Jean of Moriarty,N.M., Bernice Jensen and husband, Elof, Martha Perea and DeDe Stutchman and husband, John of Orlando, Fl.; Mrs. Aragon is also survived by one brother, Joe Fischer and wife, Lena of El Paso, TX; step brother, Carlos Aragon and wife, Flora of Santa Fe, N.M.; 17 grandchildren, Stephanie, Manuel, Michelle, Mark, Brian, Vincent, Patricia, Martin, Chris, Madeline, Denise, Jeff, Doug, Sandy, Christine, Johnny and James; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Aragon was preceded in death by her husband, Edward V. Aragon; her sons, Joseph, Patrick, Eugene and Manuel; and a grandson, Gregory. Mrs. Aragon was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, A Catholic Daughter, A member of th Blue Army, A member of The Legion of Mary, Brothers of the Good Shepherd. Mrs. Aragon lived at the Encino House for the past 22 years. A Rosary was recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW. A final viewing will be Wednesday morning after 8:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Joel Garner. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Vincent Brown, Martin Brown, Manuel Ricky Aragon, Mark Aragon, Brian Aragon, Jeff Perea, Doug Perea, John Stutchman and James Stutchman; Honorary pallbearers will be, Chris Brown, Phil Gonzales, Robert Keeling and Marshal Katz. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Presbyterian Hospice. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
