Pettine -- Theresa "Teddy" Pettine, a resident of Albuquerque and former resident of Las Vegas, passed away January 22, 2002 in Hacienda Heights, CA. Theresa was born April 16, 1908 in Raton, NM to George and Guadalupe Weathers. In 1928, she was united in marriage to Albert F. Pettine who preceded her in death on October 17, 1955. The Pettine family were well know Las Vegas Stonemasons in the early and mid 1900's. Theresa Pettine was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Las Vegas, NM and St. Charles Catholic Church in Albuquerque. She was very active in Church activities until her death. She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine"Peaches" Shackleford of Hacienda Heights, CA; son, Marvin G. Pettine and wife, Karen of Las Vegas, NM; grandchildren, Karen Pettine Martinez, and husband, Sam of Las Vegas, NM, Kristian Pettine of Norfolk, VA, Kelly Pettine Farley and husband, Robert of Albuquerque, Dianne Laggenbauer and husband, Dane, Lisa Hunt and husband, Brad, Stephen Shackleford of California, and Jim Shackleford of Hawaii. She has five great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. There will be a Rosary at St. Charles located on University and Lead in Albuquerque at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2002 and a Memorial Mass Saturday, February 16, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Charles Church in Albuquerque, NM. followed by a reception at Tanoan Country Club.
