Jewell -- Rosemarie Jewell, age 34, beloved and devoted mother, granddaughter, sister and friend was called home to be with God, Tuesday, February 12, 2002. Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Lou Rael and Andres Gutierrez; brother, Alberto Rael; paternal grandparents, Eulalio and Rebecca Gutierrez; and an aunt, Sylvia Armijo. She is survived by her daughter, Miranda Jewell; grandparents, Abe and Rose Sanchez; two sisters, Mary Gutierrez and Consuelo Rael. Also surviving are step-parents, Al and Lydia Rael; a niece and nephew, Michael and Alexis Gurule; her companion, Quinn Jones; her aunt, Margie Trujillo; very special friends, Jill May and Jason Candelaria, Percy Jewell; other relatives; and a host of friends. Rosemarie will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd., NE. Further services are pending and will be announced. Casket Bearers will be Kenneth Moore, Justy Armijo, Manuel Martinez, Michael Gutierrez, Troy Martinez, and Anthony Trujillo. Honorary Bearers will be Ricardo Gutierrez and Alex Romero. Funeral Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street NW, 898-3160.
