Flanagan -- Connie Flanagan, 65, cherished daughter and sister passed away on March 4, 2002. Connie was born on March 9, 1936 in Rupert, Idaho to Rolland and Zelma Morgan Jackson. Connie was a 30 year resident of Rio Rancho. She enjoyed baking and was known for giving her"goodie baskets" to all of her friends to enjoy. She was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Rio Rancho and she touched the hearts of many people with her love. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie. She is survived by her precious mother, Zelma Gavin of Boise, ID; her heart-sister, Jan Smithison of Cheney, WA; son, Jeff Flanagan of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Haley; and a host of beloved friends. Funeral Services for Connie will be held today, Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Gospel Light Baptist Church (1500 Southern Blvd). Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park (Sara Rd. at Meadowlark). Services under the care of Rio Rancho Funeral Home, 2400 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124 (505) 891-9192.
