Bain -- Anna "Nan" Bain, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, died Monday, February 25, 2002. She is survived by her son, Paul Bain and wife, Virginia of Albuquerque; daughter, Edith Bowen-Rehkopf of Yakima, WA; two granddaughters, Laurie Treible and Christine Stanley; grandson, Paul Bain; eight great-grandchildren; and myriad of friends."Nan" was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Col. James G. Bain; and a son, James G. Bain, III. Special thanks to the caregivers from BNC Home Care and Lovelace Hospice, and to the deacons and friends from First Presbyterian Church and PEO sisters. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for 46 years and a member of PEO Chapter V, Sigma Kappa Sorority in college. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2002 10:30 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, with Pastor Paul Debenport officiating. Interment of cremains will take place at Arlington National Cemetery.
