Rosas -- Virginia Rosas, 78, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2002 in Albuquerque. She was born May 13, 1923 to Candelario and Guadalupe Garcia Valenzuela in Luis Lopez, NM. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cruz C. Rosas in 1988. She is survived by her sons, Reyes Rosas and wife, Rose Mary and Gilbert Rosas of Socorro, NM; daughters, Candy Gallegos and husband, George of Miami, AZ, Sadie Romero and Annette Gonzales, both of Albuquerque, Bernice Rosas of Socorro, Lydia Soder and husband, George of San Antonio, NM and Jackie Rosas of Luis Lopez; a brother, Anselmo Valenzuela of Inglewood, CA; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 21, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father Flavio Santillanes as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Luis Lopez Cemetery. Pallbearers are George Gallegos, Steven Rosas, James Rosas, Chris Gonzales, Lucas Gonzales and Gilbert Hidalgo Jr. Arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
