Padilla -- Archie Padilla, 81, passed away April 6, 2002. He was born in Dawson, NM., lived in the Bay Area of California for 45 years, and retired to Las Vegas, NM. and Albuquerque. Archie worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and as a part-time musician. He was preceded in death by his son, Archie Padilla Jr.; and brother, Dave Padilla; and is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dora Padilla; children, Linda Rocco and husband, Robert Agnew, and Ronnie Ray Padilla; grandchildren, Joshua Padilla, George Rocco, Ronald Ray Rocco, and Angelica Chela Padilla; great-grandchildren, George Michael Rocco and Hailey Rocco; brothers, Max Padilla; sisters, Grace Roybal, Josie Candelario and many other friends and relatives who loved and will miss him. Memorial Services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5092 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, on April 10, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW.
