Otero -- David S. Otero, 35, a resident of Los Chavez, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2002. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. David actively coached a Little League team in the Albuquerque area and was an avid 49ers fan. He was a jack of all trades accomplishing almost any goal that was set before him. Also, he was a single parent and his two loving children where his pride and joy. He is preceded in death by his son, Martine in 1986. David is survived by his children, Crystal Roxanne and David Joseph Otero; his parents, Eufrasio and Sally Otero of Los Chavez; two brothers, Bernie of Los Lunas; and Greg of Los Chavez; his sister, Rose Otero of Los Lunas; and his maternal grandmother, Reina Madril of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2002 at Romero Funeral Home, 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Monday, April 8, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Belen Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bernie, Greg, B.J., and Chris Otero, Lee Haas, and Julio Madril. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St. Belen, NM.
