Ruiz -- Jim C. Ruiz, age 45, a resident of New Mexico for the past 25 years died April 7, 2002. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Ruiz of NM; daughter, Angie Ruiz of NM; sons, Jacob and Ysidro Ruiz of NM; parents, Ysidro and Esperanza Ruiz of NM; sisters, Cecilia Altieri of NY, JoAnn Ruiz of NM, Lisa Noehl of NV; Richard Arredondo of NM, Roy Arredondo of HI, Fred Ruiz of NM; grandchildren, Jonathan Ruiz of NM, Samantha Ruiz of NM, Jordan Ruiz of NM. Jim enjoyed softball, basketball and will be remembered as a loving husband, a giving father, and grandfather as well a cherished son. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10, 2002 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Linda Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park 700 Yale SE. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is handling his arrangements.
