Loddy -- Mrs. Tonita Loddy, 88, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family on April 23, 2002. Mrs. Loddy is the beloved wife of 62 years to Mr. Vidal Loddy. Mrs. Loddy is survived by a special niece, Luisa Chavez; a special nephew, Nigel Montano and wife, Edna; a brother, Catarino Montano; a sister, Della Sandoval; sisters-in-law; Petra Montano, Muriel Montano and Rita Brooks; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces (whom she loved very much). Mrs. Loddy is preceded in death by her parents, Ambrocio and Vitalina Montano; sons, Charlie Loddy; infant daughter, Maria; brothers, Fabian and Paul Montano; nephews, Edward Montano and Chema Chavez. Mrs. Loddy was a member of the Catholic Church. A viewing for Mrs. Loddy will be Thursday evening after 6:30 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. A Final Viewing will be Friday morning in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwin's Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW by Father Bill Sanchez. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Nigel Montano, Paul Montano, Tony Montano, Johnny Montano, Bruce Chavez and Fabian Montano Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Vincent (Bud) Chavez, Pierre Arrossa, Carlos Gene Chavez, Harold Montano and Joe Montano. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
