Smith -- Richard A. Smith, 47, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2002. He is survived by his son, Richard O. Smith of Albuquerque; daughter, Myla L. Smith of Albuquerque; son, Justin W. Smith of Amarillo, TX; and Amber L. Smith; granddaughters, Brittany Sullivan and Mariah J. Smith, both of Albuquerque; brother, Billy G. Smith and wife, LaWanda of Albuquerque; sisters, Debra Rice and husband, Daniel of Albuquerque and Rhonda R. Jardine and husband, Edward of Albuquerque; and brother, Rodney C. Smith of Albuquerque; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ima Gean Smith and father, William D. Smith. Richard will be greatly missed and loved forever."We love you!" Services will be held Friday, May 3, 2002, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
