Aylsworth -- Willet (Bill) G. Aylsworth Jr., a resident of Rio Rancho since 1980, died June 4, 2002. Bill was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 7, 1912. He is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Mary McKinley and husband, Phil of New Hampshire; step-children, Gordon Goosney and wife, Carole of Texas, Marilyn Rankin of Rio Rancho; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Bill retired after 25 years of service at MIT. He is a lifelong member of Sandoval Masonic Lodge #76, Albuquerque Scottish Rite, the Ballot Abyad Shrine and Ansar Unit Turquoise Chapter 71, OES. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 10, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Rio Rancho United Methodist Church (1652 Abrazo Rd. NE) with Rev. Gregg Armstrong, pastor, and Rev. Gordon Rankin, grandson, officiating. Private internments will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Andover Newton Theological School, the Rev. Dr. Donald J. Rankin Memorial Fund, 210 Herrick Rd. Newton Centre, Mass 02159 or to Rio Rancho United Methodist Church.
