Hanson -- Joy M. Hanson, 63, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Wayne L. Hanson, of Albuquerque; sons, Wayne L. Hanson, II and wife, Denise, of New Orleans, LA; Martin Hanson and wife, Patsy and Michael Hanson, all of Albuquerque; daughter Marla Luong of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren and her brother, Leslie Freed of Loda, IL. Mrs. Hanson was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Till on June 12, 1998. Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 29, 2002, 10:30 a.m., at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria NE, with Father Albert J. Podvin, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Robert Hanson, David Hanson, Richard Hanson, Danny Hanson, David Luong and Adam Johnson. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Sunday, July 28, 2002, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Road, Suite 146, Des Plaines, IL. 60018.
