Greigo -- Irma Griego, devoted wife and mother, loving sister, nurturing grandmother and caring friend, stepped into heaven July 24, 2002. Her many friends and family will greatly miss her cheerful ability to light up a room when she walked into it. Irma was a kind and gentle woman, never choosing to criticize others but always finding the good in them. No matter what the circumstances, Irma's faith never wavered and she continued to minister to others. She always had strength for others and was always there for everyone in her life. She had a way of making things better for people. Her listening ear and charisma drew people to her and made those around her feel important. Hospitable and welcoming, Irma was friendly to all she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. George and Irma are elders at Victory Love Fellowship. She served alongside George as an Area Minister, Family Fellowship Leader as well as serving on the Women's Advisory Board. In loving memory of Irma Griego, a memorial fund has been established for the new children's nursery. The family asks that any contributions be made in Irma's name to the Victory Love Fellowship Nursery Fund, 7201 Central Avenue NW, Albuquerque, NM 87121. Irma?s heart was always with her children. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Love Fellowship, 7201 Central NW with Pastor Steve Smothermon, officiating.
