Baerwald -- Anunsacion Gallegos Baerwald, 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother died on Thursday, August 8, 2002 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Beno Baerwald; sons, Nep Saavedra and wife, Carmen; daughters, Natividad Chavez and husband, Benito, Virginia Saaverdra; grandchildren, Randy R. Chavez, Mary R. Marquez, Richard R. Chavez, James W. Lobato, Edward Saavedra, Nep D. Saavedra, Larry Garcia, Andrea Sierra; sister, Virginia Belden; brother, Abran Gallegos; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, with Pastor Randy Walquist officiating. Visitors may pay their respects one hour before the services. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd. SE. Arrangements by Strong-Thorne Mortuary.
