He is survived by his wife, Pam Ray of Lufkin, TX; sons, Bryan Ray of 29 Palms, CA, USMC and Brandon Ray of Lufkin, TX; parents, Charles and Mercedes Ray of Albuquerque; brothers, Karl Ray and wife, Kathy of Las Cruces and Keith Ray and wife, Paula of Albuquerque; sisters, Klaudia Scott of Farmington and Kristine Sandford and husband, Peter of Los Alamos; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass will be celebrated Monday, August 12, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Frank Prieto, Celebrant.
