Brown -- Ona Brown, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Sunday, August 4, 2002. She is survived by her son, Gary Brown; grandson, Josh McCoy; granddaughter, Jennifer McCoy; longtime friend, William"Bud" James; and her poodle, Teaspoon. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis; and her daughter, Billie Jo. She owned and operated hair salons in Albuquerque, Mountainair, Estancia and Moriarty. Cremation has taken place.
