Garcia -- Augustina Garcia, 86, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2002 in Silver City. She was a resident of Albuquerque most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paciano Garcia. She is survived by her sons, Nick Garcia and wife, Dolores of Novato, CA, Gilbert Garcia and wife, Liz of San Diego, CA, Mike Garcia and wife, Donna of Albuquerque, Ruben Garcia and wife, Sadie of Silver City, NM, Ralph Luna and wife, Ki of Santa Cruz, CA, Lorenzo Garcia and wife, Angela of Denver, CO; daughters, Alice Avila and husband, Ben of Palastina, Mexico, Teresa Avalos and husband, Albert of Sacramento, CA, Millie Pollock and husband, Raymond of Albuquerque, and Mary Otero of Albuquerque; 41 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Bacas Funeral Chapel on East US Highway 180 and Delk #D, Silver City. Services will be held at St. Francis Newman Center Parish, 914 W. 13th St. Silver City at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
