Garcia -- Anthony D. Garcia, 40 a resident of Albuquerque was taken from us on Sunday, August 11, 2002. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose, his brother, Richard Garcia and his uncle, Joe Sanchez. Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Paula; his sons, Anthony Jr. and Christopher; step-children, Christina, Jeremy, Brianna and Christopher; grandson, Damien; his two god children, Matthew and Janessa. He is also survived by his parents, Raymond and Maryann; his three brothers, Raymond Jr., Matthew Andrew and Marc; his three sisters, Patricia, Roberta and Allyson; close cousin, Ronnie Sanchez; father and mother in law, Mary and Fredrico Munoz along with numerous family members and friends. Anthony was an avid Miami Dolphin's fan who served in the US Army Reserves and will have military honors. Anthony brought a lot of love and laughter to all that touched his life. Anthony was loved as high as the stars and the moon in the sky. He will be greatly missed. Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (3 blocks North of Paseo Del Norte) with Mel Gonzales, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Santuario de San Martin Catholic Church, 8321 Camino San Martin SW with Father James Vance, celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Anthony Garcia Jr., Matthew Andrew Garcia, Raymond Garcia, Marc Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Mark Walker and James Gary. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Garcia, David Torrez, Edward Padilla, Mario Mendoza and Michael Lucero. French Mortuary - Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW.
