He was born August 23, 1921 to Walter J. and Ella (Israel) Whittaker in Ft. Smith, AR. He is survived by his wife, Mary B. (Scott) Whittaker of their home; son, W. Scott Whittaker of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter, Crystal D. McClernon of Albuquerque; grandsons, Kyle and Thomas Whittaker. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be at a later date.
