Wilhelm -- Marvin J. Wilhelm, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2002 peacefully at his nursing home (Ladera Nursing Home/Rehabilitation Center). Marvin is survived by one daughter, Susan Black and husband, Kevin; brother, Adair Wilhelm and wife, Marian of Georgia; longtime friends, Dick Miller, Dolph Guzman, Chuck Larabee and many more. Marvin was a wonderful man, husband and father. He was born in Flint, Michigan and spent most of his growing up years there. After serving in WWII, he married and later moved to Albuquerque. He has lived in Albuquerque most of his life. He was a very hard worker, and a wonderful provider. He worked as an Insurance Adjuster, Private Investigator, and then retired after five years of working for the State of New Mexico in the area of Workmanťs Compensation. Marvin will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe. All are welcome to come and say some parting words at the service. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 1111.
