Campanozzi -- Louis Anthony Campanozzi, 59, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Rochester, NY, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2002. Mr. Campanozzi served on the Rochester Police Department for 22 years and retired in 1988 as Captain of the Genessee District. He was strongly active in many charity and community events. Mr. Campanozzi is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy R. (Salber); son and daughter-in-law, Marc (Nancy); daughter and son-in-law, Kim (Derek) McGill; sisters, Rose Marie Niemeyer and Lorraine Campanozzi of Fountain Valley, CA; three grandchildren, Zachary and Mackenzie McGill and Cassandra Campanozzi; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Carmel Campanozzi; and brother, Frank. A prayer service will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2002, at 12:30 p.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Deacon Mark Bussemeier reciting. A Memorial Mass will follow at 1:30 p.m., also at Church of the Risen Savior, with Father Jim McGowan, Celebrant. Ennichement of cremains will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Mr. Campanozzi�s name to the Rochester Police Department Locust Club, 1425 Lexington Avenue, Rochester, NY, 14606.
