Caldwell -- Cora C. Caldwell died in Albuquerque on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at the age of 90. The daughter of Ezra and Ida Mahan, she was born February 28, 1912 in Fayette County, Ohio. She and her late husband, Russell, raised three sons in Urbana, Ohio. Following her husband's death, she lived in Florida before moving to Albuquerque in 1997. She was an active member of St. Chad's Episcopal Church and the Order of the Daughters of the King. She is survived by her sons, the Rev. Stephen R. Caldwell and his wife, Barbara, of Albuquerque, Dr. Philip E. Caldwell and his wife, Sally, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and William H. Caldwell and his wife, Beth, of Apollo Beach, Florida; nine grandchildren including, Drew and his wife, Meg, of Albuquerque and now of Sitka, Alaska; as well as five great-grandchildren. The Burial Office and Eucharist will be offered in St. Chad's Episcopal Church, 7171 Tennyson NE, at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2002 with the Rev. Ernest St Johns celebrating, and the Rev. William Easter delivering the homily. Interment of ashes will take place in Ohio. Memorial gifts may be made to"St. Chad's Foundation", and sent to the church. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mrs. Caldwell. 891-8200.
